It's a Strawberry Day

Today I had Special K with strawberries in it for breakfast. I’m wearing a new item of clothing that has strawberries on it. I had fresh strawberries on my ice cream for desert and right now I’m eating strawberry flavored yogurty-covered fruity dots. I should have had a strawberry-flavored icee too, but I got blue raspberry instead and it spilled all over me. Because I wasn’t supposed to have it. You have to pay attention when it is a strawberry day or you get in trouble.
Today I found 3 black jelly beans in the gumball machine. Score. They were a little chewy, but still good. As a reward I dusted the gumball machine and counted out his money and it made a pretty penny and I put it in me pocket and I took it home to Jenny… Anyway I’ve got $2.67 in mostly pennies to take to the store to buy more candy. I think that I need to hire me some cute little kid to go to Wal-mart and put all the pennies in the self check out. Sounds like the best plan to me. Or I could take the pennies to the bank and have it roll them for me, but that just sounds like too much trouble.
I went to the library the other day and I was really happy to find three books and two DVDs waiting for me that I had not expected to be in yet. I was very happy. It made me think. I think that when the library made it possible to reserve items online, it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love my library. And I love librarians. The ones at my library all know me by name. I told them that they should just dedecate an entire reserve shelf for me. Seriously. Mom always knows when I'm coming home because a few days before she starts getting calls from the library. I keep a picture of my library over my bed at school. Libraries are the best. And my library rocks. They get the newest DVDs so I don't have to pay to watch them. Why do people pay for movies? Go to the library.
It's much nicer to not have to pay for movies and get them for an entire two weeks. Mom can make it through an entire DVD of Farscape without having to rent the DVD again. And that is saying something.
I think that I have lauded strawberries, gumball machines and libraries enough for one night. I'm going to check my e-mail now.

Michelle, you crack me up. I miss you lots, mostly because of all your funny Bio major stuff (that last entry is CRAZY, who collects and reassembles dead birds?). What if I became a librarian? How would you feel about that?

I love libraries and librarians as well. Not only do we have great tastes in common but we're both incredibly good-looking.
