Rambling

Well it's been almost a month since my last post and that means that it's time to post again. I don't know that I have much to say. I haven't been doing much really. I never found a job and I've kindof given up. I helped with the dissection lab and that was fun. I was going to teach a self-defense class starting today, but no one called me to sign up for it. I'll probably try for that again though.
I looked at the books that I need to order for school next semester and I got pretty excited. I forgot that I was going to take Computer Science Fundamentals. The book is about Java which means that I'm finally going to learn programming. Yay. This will be fun. I'm excited about my other classes too, but I have this sinking feeling that Biochem and Ecology are going to cause me much suffering. That's why I'm ordering my books so early, so I can start working on Biochem. I've been learning my amino acids at night while I watch DVDs from the library.
The Creature from the Black Lagoon is pretty good, but those long underwater sequences don't hold the same novelty as they did fifty years ago. I wish that the DVD was in 3D. That would have been exciting. The only time that I screamed during the movie was when the 'archaeologist' yanked the 'fossilized' arm out of the rock wall. That was very distressing.
I'm getting the first season of Chip 'n Dale from the library this time. It was my favorite show when I was a kid. Mom doesn't remember it at all. I guess she was getting stuff done while I was distracted. Anyway, that's a fair sized post and now I'm going to read up on the Creature from the Black Lagoon on wikipedia.
