Whine

My day wasn't going to be that bad. It started out fairly well. I took my Spanish final, aced it, then went to the grassy bowl to study Immunology. That was nice. Then I went to lunch. I thought that lunch opened at 11:00, but apparently it didn't. So I went and checked my mail, then I remembered that I needed to fill out an application for graduation. So I did that and it asked me to list the classes that I needed to take my last semester. So I did that but I wasn't sure I had them all so I went to check with Dr. Hartz. That was a bad thing. She was tallying up all the classes that I had taken and she told me that I only had 10 hours in my biology electives and I needed 16. That was not good because I'm taking Biochem and Ecology next fall and they are both very hard lab sciences. And next spring I'm taking Senior Seminar and Selected Topics in Chem to finish my minor. Squeezing in an extra 6 hours of biology electives is not as easy as it sounds. So I went to my room to get my paperwork and see if she was right. Then I ran around like a chicken with its head cut off, harassing all the professors to see if they had any ideas and if they would let me do research for them. It was stressful. Not what I needed when I still have 4 finals to go. After about three hours I finally decide to do research with Dr. Hill in the fall and take Molecular in the spring. Drs. Hill and Hartzell are haggling over what Dr. Hill can make me do that will count for biology and not-so-much with the chem, when Dr. Hartz decides to find out what she was thinking when she told me that the schedule we had planned was fine. So we go to the registrar to get my folder and when she looks at it she realises that I came in before they revamped the program so I only need 10 hours of electives. After three hours. During finals week. When I have five finals. I was unhappy. But relieved. But still unhappy. So all that stress got directed towards my Analytical ACS standardized final that I'm taking tomorrow at 8 am that I cannot study too much for. This is not going to be a good week.

I swear I do homework

If I was a bad guy I would want my theme music to be this cool. I mean, does it get much better than a full orchestra and a choir singing about how awesome you are in Latin? I think not.
Elisabeth borrowed Final Fantasy: Advent Children for me from Stephen. Now I'm obsessed with hair. Seriously someone must have spent a really long time looking at hair. The villain's hair looks just like mine except that it's white.

I would make such a good gamer nerd girlfriend. Stephen keeps trying to set me up with his friend. It's pretty funny actually because Elisabeth is dead set against the whole idea of setting up friends. This past year people keep trying to set me up, and I'm not sure how I should take this. Ashley is convinced that I should marry our friend Michael and have little trekkie babies, and when we were in England Ben was trying to set me up with a guy from his work. So what it really boils down to is whether I want a gamer nerd, a sci-fi nerd, or a computer nerd. I'm so nerdy sometimes I don't know what to do with myself.

Earlier this week I was on a Star Trek fix, Ashley and I found a bunch of things like this. Then we found Star Trek New Voyages. Rabid fans with too much time and money on their hands.
Then I got into a gaming fix and played Final Fantasy, and read lots of OOTS comics. Somewhere in their I finished watching all the fourth doctor episodes and started in on the fifth.
I promise that I am doing my homework and getting passing grades in all my classes.
I also made Barnaby this way cool aran sweater. That was a while ago, but I like it much better now that I'm not working on it anymore. It is hard to make up sweater patterns for oddly shaped bears.

I'm going to go to bed now and then wake up tomorrow morning hopefully and study some immunology. Doesn't that sound like a great motivation for getting up in the morning?
Yay. Complement cascades.

Heck Yes!

What breed of horse are you? Find out!

Arabians are arguably the most beautiful breed of horse in the world. The bright, enourmous eyes, the graceful arching neck, and the famous dished face. You have a fiery temper, it takes quite a rider to tame your spirit. In a good mood, you may be found elegantly trotting the length of the fence with elevated gaits, and your mane and tail waving like flags in the wind. Everyone envies your beauty... but beware if they make you mad!
Your owner is most likely to be rich, and own a famous arabian breeding barn. You'll probably have an entire web site dedicated to you.
Your colour will most likely be: Reddish Bay, Dapple Grey, Palomino, or a glimmering Chestnut.

Love/Hate

I love/hate being a biology major. I especially love/hate immunology, though at the moment I am leaning strongly to the latter of those two emotions. I love Dr. Hartz/hate her tests. I am going to get an F on this test tomorrow.
