I have no mind. I'm the village idiot.

So I watched West Side Story the other night for the first time. I then proceeded to watch it another three, now going on four, times. To be fair though I needed amusement whilst cleaning my room in preparation for painting it. But I do like the movie and it has taught me some things that I shall now list for your ammusement.
1. Snapping makes you cool.
2. I need to dance more.
3. I need to get a cool jacket/wear my cool jacket.
4. Buckling your belt on the side of your pants instead of the front makes you cool.
5. I have neither grace nor poise.
6. If I am ever found in an awkward position with the murderer of my sibling by the lover of my sibling, I should sing a song.
7. I need to train my friends to be cool enough to sing a song like Officer Krupke on the spur of the moment. 'Cause that makes you cool too.
8. When I am old I want to be called Doc. 'Cause old people named Doc are cool.
9. I need a cool nickname like A-rab, Ice, Anybodys, Snowboy, Riff etc. etc.
10. When you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way from your first cigarrette to your last dying day.

Since your accomplishments are seldom noticed,
and you are rarely thought of, you are expendable.
That doesn't mean your job isn't important but if you
were in Star Trek you would be killed off in the first
episode you appeared in.

It's a Strawberry Day

Today I had Special K with strawberries in it for breakfast. I’m wearing a new item of clothing that has strawberries on it. I had fresh strawberries on my ice cream for desert and right now I’m eating strawberry flavored yogurty-covered fruity dots. I should have had a strawberry-flavored icee too, but I got blue raspberry instead and it spilled all over me. Because I wasn’t supposed to have it. You have to pay attention when it is a strawberry day or you get in trouble.
Today I found 3 black jelly beans in the gumball machine. Score. They were a little chewy, but still good. As a reward I dusted the gumball machine and counted out his money and it made a pretty penny and I put it in me pocket and I took it home to Jenny… Anyway I’ve got $2.67 in mostly pennies to take to the store to buy more candy. I think that I need to hire me some cute little kid to go to Wal-mart and put all the pennies in the self check out. Sounds like the best plan to me. Or I could take the pennies to the bank and have it roll them for me, but that just sounds like too much trouble.
I went to the library the other day and I was really happy to find three books and two DVDs waiting for me that I had not expected to be in yet. I was very happy. It made me think. I think that when the library made it possible to reserve items online, it was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I love my library. And I love librarians. The ones at my library all know me by name. I told them that they should just dedecate an entire reserve shelf for me. Seriously. Mom always knows when I'm coming home because a few days before she starts getting calls from the library. I keep a picture of my library over my bed at school. Libraries are the best. And my library rocks. They get the newest DVDs so I don't have to pay to watch them. Why do people pay for movies? Go to the library.
It's much nicer to not have to pay for movies and get them for an entire two weeks. Mom can make it through an entire DVD of Farscape without having to rent the DVD again. And that is saying something.
I think that I have lauded strawberries, gumball machines and libraries enough for one night. I'm going to check my e-mail now.

Bio Major I am

Im honor of the new Pirates of the Carribean movie coming out July 7, I redecorated Captain Jack's cage accordingly.

How great is that. Jack really likes all the sticks in it too. He tore off most of the green napkin to put in his nest, but he left a little so it does still look like a tree. I had great fun.
In other news Mommy found a dead bird in the yard today that was in a rather severe state of decomposition. I named him Stewart. I collected all the bones and put them in sherbert container. I'm going to let the maggots finish eating all the flesh and then I'm going to clean the bones and attempt to put them together. I think that Stewart broke his wing though because there were a lot of bone fragments under his head. No matter what I still have his head and jawbone so I can put those together and have that. But I hope that I'll be able to get a bit more. Bird have a lot of teeny tiny little bones though so I'm not overly hopeful. Oh well. Here's a picture of Stewarts bones. They're pretty well cleaned off.

I like being a bio major. It's really fun sometimes.
