Exciting new update

So something exciting happened in the little world of my fishtank this week (You know, it almost getting so my fishtank needs a name). Rainbow learned a trick. He will now accept food from my hand, or fingers as it were. I was studying in my red chair next to the fishtank and I look over and, even though I had already fed him that day, Rainbow was feigning starvation. He was swimming up and down and stareing at me and presented an overall image of a severly starved, lonely and pathetic fish. So I got up and dropped a bloodworm in the tank for him. He jumped up and gobbled up this relatively long bloodworm in absolutely no time at all. So I dropped a few more little ones in. He gobbled them up to. I was then that I had the idea to get a long bloodworm, and hold it between my fingers to see what Rainbow would do. He went straight up and ate right from my fingers. I was so excited I called Elisabeth right away. Then I ran down the hall to tell Ashley. Needless to say, Elisabeth was a bit more excited than Ashley was. So, since then, I've made Rainbow eat from my hand before I will feed him. He was a bit timid at first, but today he was pecking at my finger as if he was trying to eat it. It's quite and interesting sensation to have little fish lips nipping at your finger. I believe that I will choose to think that Rainbow is giving me affectionate little fishie kisses. It's quite sweet when you think of it like that. The plus side for Rainbow is that he is now getting fed more often because it amuses me to feed him now. I hope that I will be able to get Rainbow a tankmate(s) soon. He looks really lonely and bored to me.

Elisabeth says to get a labryinth fish. They don't need a bubbler 'cause they can breath air and don't need oxygen dissolved in their water.
Betas are labryinth fish, but there are other kinds as well.
